Fred’s Piano Tuning Career

Fred’s piano technician career began in Iran while working with the late Davood Jaam, Piano Technician for the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Tuner for great artists such as Emil Gilels and Sviatoslav Richter.  Fred has continued to learn the finer points of piano tuning and servicing from master technicians. “Over the years, I have sought out the best people to learn from. Attending Piano Technician Guild (PTG) conventions around North America, I have had the privilege of learning from some of the greatest technicians in the industry.”

Your piano will benefit from Fred’s dedication to perfecting piano servicing and tuning, as evidenced by his title of Registered Piano Technician (RPT). This designation means he has successfully passed a series of rigorous examinations on the maintenance, repair, and tuning of pianos. Only RPTs are authorized by the Piano Technicians Guild to display the Guild’s logo and title.
